About us
We are a limited company employing approximately 20 engineers with degrees at master's, bachelor's and upper secondary technical level. We work as consulting engineers and our commissions mainly involve the design of building services installations.
The company has existed for over 40 years and we have extensive experience of planning and designing many types of building project. We work with commercial and public premises, industry, energy plants and residential construction.
Among our clients we have a reputation for designing cost-effective, well-dimensioned, energy-efficient and robust installations that are simple for the property owner to operate and maintain. Cost-effectiveness is the guiding principle of our work. It applies to design and contracting costs as well as to future operation and maintenance costs.

Part of XPartners Group
A building services commission on a major construction project often runs for five years or more. Since 2023 we have been part of XPartners Group, a European group of more than 80 engineering and consulting companies with around 2,500 specialists in five countries. That answers the question of whether we will still be here when the project ends.
The companies in the group are independent and decide on their own operations. POAB continues as its own company, from our offices in Stockholm, with the same contacts throughout the commission.
Through XPartners we have a shorter route to complementary expertise. If a project calls for structural engineering, fire safety, acoustics or environment, those disciplines exist within the group. We already know many of the companies from earlier commissions, so the collaboration is established from day one.
